ArcGIS Mobile extends the reach of ArcGIS to the field and compliments both ArcGIS Desktop and  ArcGIS Server with task-centric field applications for vehicle-mounted Windows touch devices and handheld Windows Mobile devices.

It includes an SDK that developers can use to extend the ArcGIS Mobile field applications with focused business tasks and workflows. Developers can also use the ArcGIS Mobile SDK to embed ArcGIS technology into their existing line of business mobile applications.

The ArcGIS for iPhone application is currently under development and will be released through Apple’s App Store this summer.
