GMS is more easy and portable tool to grab screenshot of Google Maps and save it on the computer as JPEG, PNG-8, PNG-24, BMP or Targa files. GMS is light (only ~400 KBytes) and very easy to run since doesn’t have an installer. Simply enter a location or point of interest and the program will download the available data from Google Maps.The resulting images can be large (40+ Megabytes) if the highest resolutions are selected.
