Geotagging Photos With PhotoTracker

Picmeta PhotoTracker 1.1 is freeware utility to automatically geotags your photos based on the track data from GPS exchange files. It virtually connects any GPS receiver with your digital camera.

How to use Picmeta PhotoTracker 1.1 :

  1. Select the GPS exchange file (.gpx format). It may be necessary to create this file using the Export function in your GPS software (e.g. Garmin MapSource).
  2. Select the folder which contains the photos.
  3. Click Start

Picmeta PhotoTracker can tag many file formats including RAW. It directly writes GPS EXIF data to .jpg, .tif, .crw, .dng, .nef, .pef, .jp2, .orf, .psd formats. For other formats such as .cr2 it creates XMP sidecar files based on Adobe standards.
